- 2KL 8TH GRADE SELECT TEAM MEMBER RYAN HOLLINGSWORTH has made the NJJLL U-15 TEAM. He will be representing the NJJLL at the US Lacrosse U-15 Festival in Lake George, NY.
- 2KL 7TH GRADE SELECT TEAM MEMBERS TYLER KONEN, AND MATT RAPOSO, have made the NJJLL U-13 TEAM. The Youth Festival will be June 14 & 15 in Ohio. CONNOR MCKEON and MIKE MURRAY were named an alternate.
- FORMER 2KL PLAYER AND CURRENT SELECT TEAM COACH KORY KELLY was selected as the ECAC Co-Rookie of the Year. Kory lead the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers with 24 goals during his freshman year.
- CONGRATULATIONS TO 2KL SELECT TEAM COACH JUSTIN PENNINGTON. Rutgers Player, Coach Pennington, was named First Team All-ECAC.
- FORMER 2KL PLAYER AND CURRENT SELECT TEAM COACH ZACH ZENDA was selected to play in the 2008 National High School Men's Lacrosse Senior Showcase National All-Star Game. The game will be played at Benedictine University in Chicago.
- CONGRATULATIONS TO 2KL SELECT TEAM COACH KAREN DOANE. Coach Doane, a midfielder for TCNJ, has been named to the Tawaaraton Award Foundation 2008 watch list as one of the nation's top players for women's lacrosse.
- CONGRATULATIONS TO 2 KNIGHTS COACH CHRIS DOCTOR- He was selected in the MLL Draft, Round 2 to play for the Rochester Rattlers in 2008.
- 2 KNIGHTS LACROSSE IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT US LACROSSE HAS NAMED COACH CHUCK APEL the 2008 USA U-19 NATIONAL TEAM'S HEAD COACH! Also, 2KL former player Brian Shemesh was selected to be a member of the 2008 USA U-19 Team. The games will be held in British Columbia July 2008. Co-founders Chuck Apel and his brother, Andrew Apel, have created competitive Select Teams, Clinics, Indoor and Outdoor Leagues for both boys and girls. The focus of our programs are to build solid lacrosse fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and the spirit of competition.
Our programs were created to allow all players of various skill levels a positive, well-organized, structured environment to improve their game of lacrosse.
Our goal is to develop strong lacrosse players through high quality instruction from coaches who have vast experiences and a strong love for the game. Our top-notch coaching staff has been selected based on their success, enthusiasm, knowledge to teach the game, and ability to connect with each player.
LACROSSE IS AT THE CORE OF EVERYTHING WE DO!
Our league and clinics are conveniently located in Somerset, NJ. The Soccer Centers facility's innovative synthetic turf emulates real grass and provides the perfect environment for every players needs to take his or her game to the next level.
